We are looking for a Structures S Licensed Technician to be responsible for performing a full range of aircraft sheet metal duties including disassemble, modify, repair, and reassemble complex aircraft metal items. Repair, fabrication or modification of airframe structures as assigned in accordance with approved technical instructions.
As a member of the team, work to achieve quality, cost and time commitments.
Assist in mentoring Apprentice Technicians.
Perform initial inspection of aircraft upon receipt into heavy maintenance within scope of Transport Canada S License.
Perform maintenance release of completed task and address any identified discrepancies.
Perform inspections, use SRM/drawings to determine serviceability of part/structure.
understands and promotes the company safety policy.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Aircraft Structural Repair, Modification and Fabrication
Clear understanding of manufacturers and regulatory documentation, including Service Bulletins, Engineering Drawings, etc and ensuring a thorough application of technical documentation
Clear understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARS)
Shift work
Overtime may be required
