Machine Operator/Press Operator - Full time

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Panel Press Operator to join our client a manufacturing company in Vaughan for an afternoon shift. This role involves operating and maintaining panel pressing machinery to produce high-quality components. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with heavy equipment, and proficiency with various hand and power tools. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on precision manufacturing and assembly processes.
Operate panel press machinery safely and efficiently to meet production targets
Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal performance
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on press equipment to prevent downtime
Assist with assembly, machining and other fabrication tasks as needed
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to support manufacturing processes
Load and unload materials using forklifts or other heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment and machinery
Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or warehouse machinery preferred
Familiarity with machining, assembly, welding, and the use of hand tools and power tools
Prior experience in manufacturing, construction, or warehouse environments is advantageous
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and productivity
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required
This position is integral to our manufacturing operations, requiring a proactive individual committed to safety, quality, and efficiency.
This is an immediate requirement from our client.
Shift time 3:30pm 12:30am
Pay is $20 per hour plus shift premium
