Planet Ford is currently seeking self-starting, highly motivated individuals, with proven track records in customer service or sales to join their dynamic team of Sales Consultants in Brampton. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers visiting our location.

Utilize systems and procedures, deliver exceptional customer service on all interactions, give all customers consideration and respect, understand their needs, and consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.

Learn and maintain solid product knowledge on manufacturer-specific vehicles and manufacturer-specific rebate, finance and incentive programs.

Project a positive attitude for the benefit of our customers and fellow employees.

Attend factory-sponsored and dealer-specified training classes as scheduled by management.

Answer Customer Service phone calls relating to car sale inquiries.

Ensure customer car quotes are competitive and reasonable.

Keep customers updated by phone as to the progress of their vehicle’s delivery.

Inform customers when vehicles are ready to be picked up.

Account for all documents; Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures.

High School Diploma or GED is required.

Automotive Sales Experience is an asset

Dealer CRM system experience is an asset

Strong computer skills.

Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

Ability and willingness to be flexible under changing conditions.

Ability to be creative and persuasive in negotiating.

Must be willing to be flexible with work schedules.

May be required to work on Saturday as per business needs.

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

The range reflects historical earnings at this dealership; actual earnings vary based on individual performance and business volumes.

In accordance with the Employment Standards Act, commission-paid employees will be paid at least the applicable Ontario minimum wage for all hours worked. Any minimum-wage top-up paid may be reconciled quarterly in accordance with the compensation plan.
