Job Summary
A Brief Overview

This position coordinates key aspects of academic programs (GDA and Global Online MBA), supporting the implementation of educational goals and enhancing the overall student experience. As a primary point of contact, the role provides academic advising, interprets policies, resolves student concerns, and recommends improvements to program operations. The position also plans and delivers initiatives that support student development and fosters an inclusive, engaging learning environment. Strong organizational, strategic, and partnership-building skills are essential for success in this role.

Job Description
What you will do
Coordinates key aspects of academic programs including implementing the educational agenda and goals of the program.
Coordinates the development and maintenance of the program portal.
Acts as a first point of contact regarding academic program advice and selections, student and/or participant program experience, and problem resolution.
Provides program support including registration, scheduling, evaluations, tracking progress, and performing academic audits.
Provides advice and recommendations for changes to improve program functioning.
Provides administrative support to the program including preparing correspondence, organizing itineraries, booking facilities, ordering catering, planning extra-curricular activities, maintaining records, and preparing degree lists.
Directs, allocates and supervises the work of other staff.
Required Education
~ Four-Year Bachelor Degree or equivalent.

Required Experience
~ More than 2 years and up to and including 3 years of experience.

Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Knowledge and Requirements
Practical and applied knowledge of specialized methods and processes that are typically acquired through a combination of technical or academic qualification and/or work experience.

Manage own work, train and review the work of the team to see commitments through to completion.
Sets work priorities and direction, supporting the team in achieving goals and objectives.
Participate in project team meetings and develop team project plans.
Lead procedural or technological change within a unit.
Identify new problems and seek information and input to fully understand the cause of problems.
Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work processes.
Draw logical conclusions and provides opinions and recommendations.
Research equity, diversity, accessibility and inclusion resources and best practices relevant to the job and unit operations in order to inform evidence-based planning.

Assess the suitability of job candidates and recommend the most appropriate person for hire.
Monitor and assess output and the quality of work from team members and recommend need for formal training or development plans to management and identify possible performance and/or disciplinary issues.
