The Chief of Staff acts as an extension of the CEO ensuring disciplined execution of initiatives tied to growth margin expansion and guest : based on experienceLocations: Must live or be willing to relocate to Calgary or Canmore ABKey ResponsibilitiesValue Creation & Strategic ExecutionPartner with the CEO to drive investor value-creation initiatives including revenue growth cost optimization operational excellence and EBITDA expansionTranslate board and investor priorities into clear measurable initiatives across properties and corporate teamsTrack performance against strategic plans KPIs and investment theses; prepare updates for CEO and boardInvestor & Board SupportLead the preparation of board materials investor reporting and performance dashboardsCoordinate board meetings operating reviews and strategic planning sessionsServe as a key liaison between the CEO private equity sponsors and executive leadershipPortfolio & Property OperationsWork closely with Operations and Asset Management to improve performance across hotels and spasSupport new hotel and spa openings acquisitions and brand repositioningIdentify and scale best practices in systems and processes that focus on: service delivery spa utilization pricing labor management and guest satisfactionCross-Functional LeadershipDrive alignment across Operations Finance Revenue Management Sales Marketing HR Development and TechnologyLead high-priority cross-functional initiatives such as system implementations pricing strategies or organizational redesignRemove barriers to execution and ensure accountability across teamsExecutive Operations & CEO EnablementManage the CEOs operating cadence including executive meetings quarterly reviews and leadership offsitesAct as a thought partner and sounding board to the CEO on strategic and organizational issuesRepresent the CEO in meetings as appropriateCulture Talent & ScaleSupport leadership development and succession planning across corporate and property leadershipHelp scale organizational structure governance and processes to support rapid growthReinforce a culture of accountability service excellence and performance disciplineRequirementsRequiredMBA or advanced degree required1215 years of experience in strategy operations consulting finance or senior leadership rolesExperience working in or with investor/private equitybacked companiesStrong understanding of multi-property hospitality operations preferably hotels and/or spasAdvanced financial acumen and comfort with KPI-driven performance managementExceptional communication skills and executive presencePreferredHospitality leisure wellness or luxury consumer brand experiencePrior Chief of Staff CEO corporate strategy or operating partnerstyle experienceExperience supporting M&A integration portfolio expansion or turnaround initiativesKey CompetenciesResults-oriented with strong execution disciplineHigh emotional intelligence discretion and judgmentAbility to influence without authority across corporate and field teamsComfortable operating in high-expectation investor-driven environmentsStrong problem-solving prioritization and change-management skillsBasecamp Resorts is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to building a workplace that values diversity and ensures equal opportunities for all.
