Accounting Clerk (Remote)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to support our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with accounting software, and able to manage multiple financial records with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and balance general ledgers and financial records
- Record and post journal entries
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Reconcile bank and credit accounts
- Prepare trial balances and financial statements
- Track and manage accounts payable and receivable
- Assist with budget monitoring and expense tracking
- Generate accounting and financial reports as required
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial files
- Other relevant duties as required

Qualifications & Skills
- 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting

Education
• Diploma in Bookkeeping, Accounting, business is considered an asset.
Language:
• English (required)
Nice to Have
- Experience with payroll processing
- Familiarity with financial reporting and depreciation tracking
- Previous experience in small business or hospitality environments
