: We're looking for an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Bookkeeper to join our team. The role will begin with more basic administrative responsibilities and will progress into more detailed accounting and bookkeeping responsibilities over time.
Maintain and update accounts payable and accounts receivable.· Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements.· Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate payments.· Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to emails.· Assist with data entry, filing, and document management.· Provide general administrative support to different departments as needed.· Handle invoicing, billing, and collections.· File taxes and government remittances for GST, PST, WCB, EHT, Corp. Tax.
Qualifications: **· Proven experience in Bookkeeping or a similar role.· Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.· Proficient in accounting software.· Knowledge of payroll systems and tax regulations.· Check out our Website at
