Veterinary Technician - Weekend Shift

Join Our Team as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) at CTVRC/EC! Are you passionate about veterinary medicine and looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic, supportive environment? Central Toronto Veterinary and Referral & Emergency Clinic (CTVRC/EC) is seeking a dedicated RVT to join our Emergency Care Service. Days, Evenings, & Overnights options available!

• 10-hour and 12-hour shifts
• Rotational weekends, most likely every other weekend

2 shift premiums between 7 PM and 7 AM. $2500 Sign on bonus! Triage and Assess: Perform triage duties and document evaluations for animals with critical conditions, including shock, acute illness, trauma, and toxicity. Advanced Medical Procedures: Execute advanced procedures like thoracentesis, ultrasounds, central line placement, epidurals, and more, with the support of our experienced team. Nursing Care: Provide top-notch nursing care to in-house and out-patients, including TPRs, catheterization, wound management, and rehabilitation therapy. Surgical Support: Assist in full-scope surgery services from prep to post-op recovery, ensuring the highest standards of care. Qualifications: New graduates are welcome! Graduation from an OAVT-accredited college program. Passed or in the process of writing the VTNE. Commitment to patient care, customer service, respect, and accountability.
