Job Responsibility:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Program Design Duties
Design the activities the program uses in its day-to-day operations. These include a schedule of daily activities to entertain, stimulate and educate the children.
Plan must also ensure that the facility is kept clean, sanitary and well-organized.
Staff Supervision Duties
Supervise activity leaders in the before and after program
Prepare staff work schedule
Review staff performance as needed
Administrative Duties
Responsible for recordkeeping, managing petty cash, and maintaining client files
Complete monthly client billing
Review and submission of staff payroll
Must be conscientious about issues such as the proper handling of funds and the privacy rights of clients.
Must also be able to interact with parents in a welcoming and pleasant way. Parents and staff must feel that they can approach Program Coordinator freely with any issues that may come up.
Must be able to communicate with parents concerning potentially difficult topics such as behavior issues and program payments.
Direct Care Duties
Actively participate in a variety of enriching activities with school-aged children
Follow program schedule including homework help, implementation of curriculum theme, cleanup, and other times set for activities
Assist in maintaining high standard of health and safety keeping the health and welfare of all children in mind at all times
Participate in regularly scheduled staff meeting as well as other staff meetings as needed.
Follow policies and procedures to ensure health and safety requirements are met.

Monday-Friday 7:00am-9:00am & 3:30pm-6:00pm,
Full days: shift between 7:00am - 6:00pm
Job Types: Part-time, SeasonalContract length: 10 months
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
