VP of Operations - Agriculture

Our aerial spraying systems help farmers target weeds with surgical precision, reducing chemical use and increasing yields. We’re a fast-moving, impact-driven team looking for people who want to help build the future of farming.

The VP of Operations will lead the operating system that enables Precision AI to scale. You will begin with 2 direct reports in Business and People Operations, needing to balance managerial responsibilities with being hands-on in the ownership of key projects. As a key executive, you will improve execution, establish scalable operating rhythms, and ensure the company is prepared for its next stage of growth.

This person should be equally comfortable reviewing organizational structure, discussing fundraising strategy with investors, and being hands-on in removing operational bottlenecks that slow execution.

As Precision AI prepares for its next phase of growth and a future Series B financing, this role will play a critical part in evolving the operational foundation required to support a significantly larger organization.

This role is based in Calgary and will work from Precision AI’s headquarters 4+ days a week.

Business Operations

Build the systems and processes needed to scale the business.

Corporate Operations & Risk

Oversee corporate insurance, procurement, and key vendor relationships.

Manage grant programs and government funding opportunities.

Help scale a high-performing, values-driven organization.

Balance long-term planning with hands-on operational leadership.

10+ years of progressive leadership across Operations, Business Operations, or related functions.

• Track record building operational systems, planning processes, and organizational structure in high-growth environments.
• Strong business judgment with the ability to simplify complex decisions and create clarity from ambiguity.
• Ability to influence technical and non-technical teams while balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.

Experience managing grants, government funding programs, or corporate compliance.

Experience in agriculture, agtech, robotics, machinery, or another relevant technical industry.
