Finance Manager - Development Accounting

Your new company You will be joining a rapidly scaling real estate investment and development platform with a national footprint. The organization specializes in multifamily, mixed‑use, commercial, and hospitality assets, with a focus on acquiring under‑performing properties and unlocking value through disciplined execution, strategic financing, and long‑term vision. This is an entrepreneurial, fast‑growth environment where senior leaders have a direct impact on major transactions and the evolution of the business.
As the Director of Finance, you will build and lead the financial function of the organization. Working closely with the executive team, you will oversee corporate finance strategy, reporting, performance management, capital planning, and organizational scaling. You will play a key role in acquisitions, development projects, joint ventures, dispositions, and recapitalizations while managing relationships with lenders, capital partners, and financial institutions. You will lead all financial operations, including corporate accounting, treasury, audits, compliance, and month‑/year‑end reporting, while building the internal finance infrastructure, systems, and team. 7–10 years of experience in commercial real estate
- CPA, CFA, MBA, or similar senior finance designation (asset, not required)
- Strong experience with acquisitions, underwriting, financing structures, or large multifamily portfolios
- Bilingualism (English/French) considered an asset
Salary range of $130,000–$170,000 + performance‑based bonus
