What You Bring
We're looking for a leader who blends strong engineering depth with a passion for developing people and improving systems. We're looking for someone who brings:
Significant experience in power generation, including gas turbines, with leadership experience guiding technical teams.
The ability to interpret complex plant systems and translate that into effective asset strategies, troubleshooting approaches, and long‑term planning.
A leadership style that inspires accountability, continuous learning, and collaborative problem‑solving.
Strong communication skills and confidence working across operations, engineering, and senior leadership.
Knowledge of NERC/CIP regulations.
Qualifications
Successful completion of a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited education institution.
Seven (7) years of directly related experience in the Power Generation field and Gas Turbine experience including five (5) years in a supervisory management capacity.
Registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), in good standing.
Project Management Professional (PMP) designation would be considered an asset.
Possession of a Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
An equivalent combination of management approved education, training and experience may be considered.
