Client Services Representative – Environmental
The Client Services Representative (CSR) is the primary link between the laboratory and clients, providing technical information and ensuring a seamless client experience. A cooperative, team-focused mindset and commitment to quality service are essential. Guided by the Client Services Manager or Supervisor, the CSR upholds the company’s promise of "Service Beyond Analysis".
Serve as the main client liaison, embodying AGAT’s mission of Service Beyond Analysis through timely, accurate communication and support.
Respond promptly to client inquiries, providing technical details, pricing, and sampling requirements, and coordinating laboratory testing or subcontracting as needed.
Manage client projects end-to-end — from sample receipt to reporting, exports, and invoicing — ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Collaborate with internal teams (Laboratory, Logistics, Accounting, and Sales) to resolve issues, process requests, and maintain workflow efficiency.
Support team development, participate in audits, and contribute to continuous improvement within the Client Services department.
French Language proficiency not required but strongly preferred

• Minimum 1-2 years laboratory or customer service
• Confident computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft Office and Excel, Laboratory Information Management Systems [LIMS] and Reporting Systems)
• confident telephone communications essential
• customer rapport building skills are essential
• Attention to detail for routine tasks and commitment to quality standards
• Previous Customer Service experience and team-oriented focus is essential
