The Hillman Group services a wide variety of customers in the Automotive, Industrial, Retail and Agricultural channels. We have products in Home Depot, Lowes, Canadian Tire, Walmart and more! Have you ever done any home improvement projects? The Hillman Group Canada employs over 700 employees in 2 manufacturing facilities and 7 distribution facilities across Canada. The Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that product is merchandised on the shelve in a timely manner, setting up and tearing down displays and clearing any unwanted products from the shelves. The Merchandiser is required to visit different big box retail stores weekly.
This is a seasonal position from May 11th to end of August. Pay is based on experience, typically $19-20 CAD an hour.
Maintain housekeeping standards.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Follow store safety rules and work in a safe and healthy manner.
Employees are expected and encouraged to participate in safety and health program activities including immediately reporting hazards, immediately reporting unsafe work practices and incidents to supervisors, wearing required personal protective equipment, and participating in and supporting safety committee activities.
High school diploma or equivalent.
~Proficiency with MS Office, specifically Outlook.
Creates a positive work environment by demonstrating and sharing functional/technical knowledge.
