Are you ready to make a positive impact on Yukon communities? The Department of Highways and Public Works provides the necessary structure that makes life in Yukon possible. This position will lead and support divisions of Highways and Public Works in working with Yukon First Nations and Transboundary Indigenous groups in order to support analysis, development and implementation of agreements, accords, policies and other initiatives
Postsecondary degree in Indigenous Studies, Public Administration, or related discipline.
Considerable experience leading and providing recommendations on complex joint projects, agreements and initiatives involving multiple partners.
Experience leading consultation and engagement with Indigenous organizations.
Experience delivering training on First Nation Relation topics (e.g. consultation, engagement or Yukon First Nation 101) is an asset.
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.

This is a designated position within the Yukon public service which requires the following condition(s) of employment:
~ Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
