The Pan Am Clinic is currently seeking a Unit Clerk for the Ambulatory Care Clinic. Reporting to the Manager of Ambulatory Care, the incumbent is responsible for providing clerical duties as well as meeting the departments' expectations.

Receives and registers patients to clinic, ensuring appropriate documentation is completed.
Acts as communication link for the clinic, answering telephone calls, determining urgency and forwarding calls or taking and relaying messages.
Maintains unit supplies and performs other miscellaneous duties as required.
Previous related work experience preferred.

Successful completion of a recognized Unit Clerk course required.
Medical Terminology required.
Must communicate fluently in written and spoken English.
This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. Please note that an employee is not permitted to hold two or more positions across the WRHA legal entity that combine to equal more than 1.0 EFT.
