Forklift Operator (Manufacturing) - Day Shift, Temp to Perm

In this Forklift Operator role, your primary responsibility will be operating industrial lift trucks to move materials around the warehouse and production areas. You will be instrumental in loading and unloading trucks, stacking products in designated storage zones, and supplying production lines with necessary components. This position offers a consistent day shift from Monday to Friday, with an early finish to kickstart your weekend! Shift - Day and Night Shift Available
Pay- 22.00 + shift premium
Competitive starting wage of $22 per hour plus shift premium.
Consistent full-time hours on a desirable day shift schedule.

Safely and efficiently operate a counterbalance forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
Load and unload materials from trailers and transport them to and from designated areas in the facility.
Perform daily pre-operational inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns immediately.
Accurately pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.
Assist in physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation.
Work collaboratively with other team members in the manufacturing & logistics department to ensure operational efficiency.
Adhere to all company policies and provincial health and safety standards.
Minimum of one year of direct experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
An external forklift certification is considered a strong asset.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
