Manufacturing Engineering, CNC Programmer

Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

Operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling milling turning and cutting based on production requirements.
Load and unload raw materials and finished parts into and out of the machine.
Start and stop machine operation as required to complete production runs.
Monitoring and Quality Control
Monitor the machines performance during operation to ensure consistent and accurate production.
Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools (e.g. calipers micrometers) to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Identify and report any deviations from specifications or quality issues to the supervisor.
Detect and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and make adjustments or repairs as needed.
Maintain accurate records of production output machine settings and any issues encountered during operation.
Complete production logs inspection reports and other required documentation.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and any operational concerns.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for the task at hand.
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in CNC machining is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years experience as a CNC operator or in a related
Technical Skills
Basic understanding of CNC machine operation and programming.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Basic troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve minor mechanical issues.
Ability to lift and move materials and tools (up to 50 lbs).
CNC drilling milling turning and cutting machines
Manufacturing or workshop environment with exposure to loud noise moving mechanical parts and potential hazards.
Personal Protective Equipment provided and must be worn.
Attention to detailed drawings relating to the product being manufactured.
Constant awareness that manufacturing processes meet customer specifications.
Industrial environment with many different processes/manufacturing occurring throughout the building; Pressure to perform at maximum potential to meet Quality Assurance Standards.
