We are looking for a Lead Full Stack Developer (Hands-on) to help scale our product, raise engineering standards, and play a defining role in the future of our company.

This is a role for someone who still loves building every day — and also wants meaningful ownership and real influence.

You will remain deeply hands-on while leading technical execution, architecture decisions, engineering quality, and team growth. Lead technical direction

You'll work directly with the founders to shape the long-term technical vision of Panorama. You'll design, build, and ship meaningful product improvements across the frontend, backend, APIs, infrastructure, and internal tooling — moving fluidly between product ideas and production-ready execution.

You'll collaborate closely with founders and users to identify pain points, challenge assumptions, and turn ideas into elegant solutions that create measurable customer value.

You'll help establish a culture of craftsmanship and speed. From code quality and architecture patterns to testing discipline and developer experience, you'll improve how engineering gets done across the company.

Through thoughtful code reviews, technical coaching, and collaborative problem-solving, you'll help other developers grow stronger and move faster.

Lead AI acceleration

We believe the best engineering teams now combine strong fundamentals with intelligent use of AI. You'll help drive how we use tools like Copilot, Claude Code, and emerging workflows to accelerate delivery, improve quality, reduce repetitive work, and unlock faster experimentation across the team.

Scale for the next stage

As Panorama grows, new technical challenges will emerge: performance, reliability, observability, and complexity management. You'll help ensure our systems are ready before they become bottlenecks.

You'll help maintain high standards around reliability, access control, secure development practices, and enterprise readiness.

7+ years of professional software development experience

• Strong track record building and shipping production web applications
• Proven experience leading technical projects or mentoring developers
• Startup or high-growth environment experience is a strong asset

Technical strength

Deep expertise in TypeScript

Strong full-stack capabilities with React, Next.js, Node.js, APIs, and databases

Strong software architecture instincts

Ability to balance speed with long-term quality

Bias for action — you ship, iterate, and learn

Genuinely enjoys helping others grow

Language & location

Fluent English required

French is a strong asset

Able to work in Montréal 2–3 days per week

Languages: TypeScript / JavaScript (across the entire stack)

Frontend: React, Next.js, Material UI, Tailwind CSS, Shadcn

Backend: Node.js (Koa / Hono)

Infrastructure: AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, Cognito, S3, OpenSearch) and Cloudflare (Workers, Workflows, D1, R2, KV)

Testing: Hybrid work model (2–3 days in office, 2–3 remote)
