Senior Accounting Supervisor

Kardium has a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market: The Globe® Pulsed Field System. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story. Having completed our global pivotal study and seeking regulatory approvals prior to starting commercial sales, we are now preparing the company to grow rapidly in this exciting market. As a member of the accounting team, you will be supporting essential accounting and finance functions including financial reporting and tax compliance, FP&A, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and internal controls. You will be a key contributor to projects that support Kardium's rapid growth and prepare it to be a public, commercial stage company. Financial reporting and tax compliance
Conducting financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision making
Participation/review of full-cycle accounting processes
Supporting system implementation projects (ERP and others)
Develop and implement robust internal controls in preparation for SOX compliance.
What you bring to the team Our Kardium team is smart, creative, and passionate about developing cutting-edge medical devices to help improve people's lives. You are suited to our approach and possess these attributes:
CPA designation, with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in an accounting or financial analyst role.
Experience working with and building complex financial models.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced MS Excel skills.
Experience in a public company preferred.
As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium's stock option plan.
~$75,000 - $90,000 (CAD Annually)
