ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN
Site: Kamloops
Reporting to the Financial Analyst, the Accounting Technician will be responsible for efficient administration of accounts payable and other accounting duties including communicating with various department and/or vendors to maintain information files, investigating and resolving discrepancies and supporting the department in other tasks as required.
Various administrative support tasks as required.
Self-directed and works with minimal supervision.
- Customer oriented with the ability to collaborate well with others.
- Minimum of a two-year diploma in an applicable accounting discipline, BBA/BCom in Finance or Accounting preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of intermediate accounting principles.
- Experience in data entry and a working knowledge of the Accounts Payable function.
- Strong computer system aptitude including Microsoft Office Suite products.
- SAP knowledge would be an asset.
