Job Title: District Manager – Field Sales & Merchandising
Brand Momentum is an award-winning sales, marketing, and retail merchandising agency. Led by a talented team and supported by a network of trusted partners, Brand Momentum creates authentic and lasting human connections across Canada. This role is responsible for delivering service excellence within their own assigned stores while also supervising a field team, providing mentorship and support to ensure client and team key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved.
Supervise a field team
Deliver training – conduct in-field coaching days (60% of the team trained each month), organize regular team meetings, and ensure effective communication with representatives
Conduct weekly business reviews with the Regional Manager
Manage the team's day-to-day logistics
Handle reporting, communications, goal setting, coaching, team motivation, and performance evaluations
Build strong relationships with clients, team members, and the Regional Manager
Become an expert in the client's products, strategy, and market
Manage multiple projects simultaneously through effective time management and prioritization
Be accountable for quality coaching and team retention
Approve ADP timesheets for the team on a bi-weekly basis
Coordinate, develop, and deliver onboarding training for new representatives (30/60/90-day plan) to ensure consistent high-quality field execution
Serve as the reliable point of contact for all field representatives regarding project-related questions or concerns
Technical Skills (Hard Skills)
Sales experience, particularly in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, with exposure to major clients
Experience supervising sales and/or merchandising teams
Strong computer proficiency, including Outlook and Word
Self-motivated and passionate, with strategic thinking, creativity, and a strong interest in coaching and supporting others
Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to understand key business drivers
Proven sales and territory management skills
