Finance Manager - Development Accounting

Director of Finance
We are seeking a Director of Finance to join a growing organization in the construction sector. This is a newly created role driven by expansion and the strategic integration of multiple business units, including two construction companies and a flooring division.
You will play a central role in building financial structure, integrating multiple entities, and supporting continued growth.
Lead and oversee all financial operations across multiple business units

• Develop and implement financial processes, controls, and reporting structures to support growth and integration
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
• Manage and enhance job costing and job forecasting processes to improve project profitability and visibility
• Mentor and guide the existing team (AP, AR, Procurement, Controller), helping define roles and improving efficiency
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Proven experience in the construction industry or a related field. Strong background in building and implementing financial processes in a growing organization

• Hands-on experience with job costing and project forecasting
• Experience supporting multi-entity or consolidated business structures is an asset
