Valnet is hiring a Commercial Director for its Gaming portfolio of publications to spearhead its commercialization program. The Commercial Director is responsible for driving all commerce-related initiatives by identifying and managing new revenue opportunities, including but not limited to the creation of high-intent sales funnels, launching and growing newsletters, running the affiliate program, and creating new IP.
Launch and monetize high-intent newsletters leveraging specific or all partnerships part of our affiliate network
Create high-intent pages with strong sales funnel (must collaborate with performance marketing team and sales pod leadership)
Lead the transition from a single-site content model to a multi-product, multi-surface suite (site, newsletters, landing-page funnels, evergreen DB/utility experiences, commerce hubs).
Own front-end templates and on-site UX as revenue products , with accountability for RPM, CVR, and retention.
Oversee newsletter programming, segmentation, QA, scheduling, and optimization.
Build growth loops for list acquisition across web and social surfaces.
Partner with commerce editors to align content formats with user intent and conversion performance.
Ensure link integrity, tracking accuracy, and performance reporting by template and query group.
Define commerce content formats and standards that reduce decision friction and improve conversion.
Act as a partial bridge between Product/Editorial and Direct Sales:
Support integrated sponsorship builds spanning site + newsletters + commerce hubs.
commerce hubs, seasonal deal franchises, newsletter SKUs, evergreen DB verticals, landing-page packages).
5-10 years of experience in e-commerce, digital publishing, performance marketing, editorial operations, audience development, or a related field.

• Understanding of legal and compliance requirements for email and paid content.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
