Head Chef

Job Responsibility:
Welcome to Botanica by Cavana Ridge. This beautiful upscale covered patio delivers lovely al fresco dining experience to our guests ( open to the public). This seasonal position May thru Early September is to assist the need in kitchen and to help expedite a small curated menu of 6+ dishes. Service and or kitchen experience would be an asset. Great position for a culinary student or induvial with cooking experience in need of a great summer work environment at Cavana Ridge.
This position will include:

• Lead Food in food preparation for Kitchen
• Lead in Expediting orders on Line for Guests
• Ensuring Quality Control of Final Plate Presentation
• Garnishing Food
• Occasional New Dish Creation Opportunities available.
• Washing Dishes.
• Monitoring Food Inventory and helping compiling orders if needed
• Ensuring Proper Shut Down of Kitchen/ and or Patio.
• Occasional Shopping Needs
• Helping Service Guests in Botanica if needed
• Assist in Cocktail Making if needed
• Assisting where ever may be needed in the spa during slower times.

Job Type: SeasonalContract length: 4 months
Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 - 38 per week
