Job Responsibility:
Academy of Learning College is looking for a dedicated Learning Coach to join our growing team!
Responsibilities
- Obtaining signed contracts
- Completing registration forms
- Obtaining attendance agreements
- Explaining learner policies and regulations of the College
- Explaining obligations of applicants, if funded by OSAP or other government fundings
- Generating Monthly Reports
- Entering and maintaining CMS Records
- Ordering Certificates and Diplomas
- Submitting final transcripts of marks
Scheduling Learners/Students
- Using the computerized scheduling system
- Keeping learners informed about their progress on a regular basis
- Regularly speaking with learners falling behind in their schedule, and keeping FAOs, Campus Manager and Admissions informed
Managing Attendance
- Monitoring attendance, running the Learners Who have not Logged Off Report each morning
- Tracking overall attendance and trends on Student files
- Showing learners how to do attendance in the Learning Hub
Exam Control
? Setting ILS learners up for exams
Inventory Control - Workbooks/Textbooks
- Organizing and storing inventory
- Preparation of Book Order and submit to Accounting for order.
Learner/Student Follow-up
- Calling 3 months after completion for KPI
- Calling to congratulate graduates when they obtain employment
- Maintaining Learner/Student Archive Files
- Storing learner files with all required documentation and information for the required number of years, as stipulated by the Ministry and Head Office
Miscellaneous duties
- Taking calls and walk-in inquiries
- Liaising with the Head Office on learner/course/technical queries
- Upgrading existing course materials as necessary
- Learning new course material
- Other duties as requested by the Campus Manager and Campus Director
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Day shift
Evening shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
Education:
~ Secondary School (preferred)
