ABM College is currently seeking a full-time Student Admissions Advisor for immediate hire at our Calgary Campus. Our Advisors help potential students select and enroll in their ideal program. This role is well suited for someone with experience in social media marketing who can actively engage with potential leads on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to generate interest in our programs. Follow up with prospective students via direct meetings, live chat, phone calls, and emails to schedule admissions appointments.
Achieve admission enrollment sales quotas set by the college.
Participate in recruitment events, open houses, school fairs, information sessions, exhibitions, school visits, and off-campus events.
Use social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) Maintain a database of student information, telephone logs, and student feedback to generate student reports for management.
Manage incoming phone calls, direct them to the appropriate department, and take messages when necessary.
Support various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
Experience in social media marketing, specifically with lead generation and posting on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, is highly preferred.
Experience in a post-secondary institution is an asset.
Advanced knowledge of the admissions process within a post-secondary environment, including criteria, policies, and procedures.
Excellent ability to perform tasks with accuracy, promptness, and minimal supervision.
