Temp Postal Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional for a short-term contract role located in Woodstock, ON. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who excels at working independently and is looking to gain experience and networking opportunities within a major financial institution's branch network.

The Mail Clerk is responsible for the successful delivery of document filing and digitization processes within a dynamic branch environment. You will serve as an expert in navigating physical and digital documents, ensuring that all records are accurately processed, scanned, and secured. This role requires a blend of physical document handling and basic digital proficiency to ensure the integrity of the branch’s record-keeping system.

Networking: Significant opportunity to build connections within a leading banking delivery excellence business unit.

Structured Schedule: Stable Monday to Friday hours (9:30 AM – 5:30 PM) with no weekend or overtime requirements.

Comprehensive Training: Includes one week of dedicated onsite training to ensure your success.

Digitization & Scanning: Prepare paper documents for digitization and operate hardware (Ricoh photocopiers/scanners) to upload files into the system.

Quality Assurance: Provide daily and weekly status updates to management teams via email or phone regarding progress and milestones.

Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all corporate Privacy Policies, Employee Conduct Rules, and Health and Safety regulations.

Remain flexible to support various initiatives as business priorities shift, ensuring early identification of any emerging risks or issues.

Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in an office, administrative, or document management role.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel) and comfort operating office hardware (photocopiers/scanners).

Soft Skills: Highly developed organizational skills, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and strong communication skills.

Asset: Previous experience in document filing or records management is considered a strong asset.
