Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking dedicated guest service oriented Regular Inspector/Inspectress to join the Housekeeping department.

This position requires the ability to inspect rooms after the housekeepers finish cleaning the rooms. This candidate should have previous Housekeeping experience as they have to be able to inspect the quality and cleanliness are up to the Hyatt standards. This candidate must be energetic, detailed and meticulous in following Hyatt cleanliness standards and have great interpersonal and verbal communication skills. In charge of special projects in the department, answering phone queries, guest inquiries and requests on a daily basis. This position works closely with the Housekeepers, Housekeeping Supervisors, and Front Desk. They will be the liaison between Housekeeping and Front Desk for the communication of releasing rooms to the front desk for arrival and preparation of resort guest, owners, and VIP's.

Starting wage is $20.90, after 6 months $24.38, after one year $27.86.

HotSOS/Rex program experience preferred

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

Frequent standing and walking throughout shift

Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.

Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling

Occasional ascending or descending stairs and ramps

Capable of performing repetitious duties
