Cella by Randstad Digital is searching for a talented and forward-thinking Copywriter on behalf of our client, a leader in the Canadian telecommunications industry. In this three monty contract role, you will be at the forefront of digital content strategy, developing compelling web copy for major consumer brands. You will excel at transforming strategic keywords into persuasive narratives that align with user intent and support a premium brand value proposition. This role is available as a remote only or hybrid in Toronto or Montreal market.

Strategic Content Creation: Craft clear, engaging copy for digital platforms, applying SEO and GEO best practices to maximize reach and relevance.
Develop creative messaging that adheres to established brand guidelines while optimizing headlines, CTAs, and meta descriptions for the best user experience.
Partner with design and technical teams to ensure integrated messaging across various products, from hardware (smartphones/wearables) to service-based offerings (rate plans/network benefits).
Performance Optimization: Interpret content metrics such as search rankings and conversion rates to iterate and improve copy effectiveness.
Quality Excellence: Proofread and edit all materials for grammar, clarity, and consistency, maintaining a high standard of professional output.
Industry Leadership: Stay current on telecommunications trends, competitor messaging, and evolving search engine algorithms to keep content competitive.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Professional copywriting experience (typically 3+ years) with a portfolio that highlights success in SEO/GEO initiatives and persuasive storytelling.
Technical Proficiency: Strong command of SEO/GEO structures, including internal/external linking strategies and the adoption of AI-assisted writing tools.
Analytical Skills: Ability to translate complex technical features into simple, benefit-driven language for a general audience.
Efficiency: Proven ability to manage multiple writing assignments simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the telecommunications landscape is considered a strong asset.
