Contract: Permanent
8:30 – 4:30 Monday – Friday (on call after hours, weekends)
Location: Kitasoo (Xai’xais) Nursing Station / Klemtu, BC (onsite)
Bargaining Unit: PIPSC BCFNHA Group (Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada)

Robust Pension Plan
As Community Health Nurse, you will – provide a comprehensive range of core nursing functions and services in remote First Nations communities in program areas of community and public heath, primary care, and urgent and emergent care. This includes health promotion and disease and injury prevention for individuals, families, groups, communities, and populations.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a recognized university or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Remote Community Health Nurse must be remote certified (RNC) with BCCNM. (Requires a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
Minimum one (1) year of recent point-of-care nursing experience in a related or relevant field
Community Health Nurse, Travel Nurse, and Nursing.
Municipal Pension plan with an employer contribution of 9.31% after eligibility period

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time equivalent hours.
