Take charge of video hardware codec blocks, algorithm specification, and interface design. Apply your expertise to micro-architecture coding and debugging, and see your ideas come to life in real-world applications.
Global Impact: With locations in Canada and the United States, your innovations will have a global reach, influencing how people experience video content across the world.
Design and develop state-of-the-art cloud video encoders for our cutting-edge VPU.
Lead the logic design and micro-architecture efforts for video hardware codec blocks.
Specify algorithms and design interfaces to enhance codec performance.
PhD or MSc in a related field, or equivalent industry experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of video technology and hardware design.
A strong background in video compression and video codec software/hardware design.
Proficiency in C and C++ for video codec reference models.
A solid understanding of DSP/Multimedia and hardware implementation is preferred.
