Dayton Parts is seeking a Branch manager for our Montreal warehouse! In this role you will be responsible to supervise our organization’s warehouse operations with guidance from the Operations Manager. This role is essential to our overall corporate objective—to ensure that the warehouse processes result in products of maximum quality with minimum costs . Shift: Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm – Moderate OT Expectation
Supervising a warehouse team in daily workflow and logistics processes
Meets daily demands of warehouse operations from the receipt of products, storage, and distribution to
customers.
Trains all workers in safety policies.
Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety/OSHA regulations.
Prepares annual employee performance reviews.
Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by following policies and procedures.
Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
Maintains physical condition of warehouse
Oversee the daily inspections of the warehouse equipment reports.
Follows and maintains transportation and distribution procedures to maximize delivery efficiency
swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Experience with computerized inventory systems
Required High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 5 years experience in warehouse or logistics
Proficient with Outlook, Excel, Word, PDFs
SAP experience (Can train)
Heavy duty truck industry experience preferred but not required.
