Pharmasave #427 is looking for a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Estevan, Saskatchewan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with daily pharmacy operations.
- Assist with prescription entry, labelling, packaging, and medication preparation.
- Provide friendly customer service in person and over the phone.
- Process insurance claims and prescription transfers.
- Receive, stock, and monitor medication inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment.
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as required.
Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Kroll and prescription data entry.
- Knowledge of Pharmacare, insurance billing, and clinical service flagging.
- Pharmacy Assistant training/certification is an asset.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes as needed.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Schedule:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Flexibility to work within these hours is required.
