DevOps Engineer (Financial Services / FinTech)

We are looking for Devops Engineer with Telemetry experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of products that help companies communicate with their customers in deep and personal ways.
In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Mississauga, ON is CAD $110k – CAD $120k/year & benefits (see below).
Driving the design, implementation, and operation of telemetry, alerting, monitoring, and infrastructure components.
Deploying and managing Open Telemetry Collectors, configuring data pipelines, and setting up exporters to backend systems.
Building and managing infrastructure using tools like Terraform or Ansible to create consistent, reproducible environments.
Establishing and maintaining continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure efficient software releases.
Working with developers and data scientists to instrument applications and define SLIs/SLOs.
Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong skills in Python, Bash, Go, or Ruby.
Deep understanding of OS fundamentals, including networking and file systems.
Experience with SQL, NoSQL (e.g., Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
