Cenovus Atlantic Region is seeking a Senior Production Engineer for the St. Johns NL this role you will support safe and efficient production operations across the White Rose field including the West White Rose platform associated subsea assets and flowlines and the SeaRose FPSO topsides processing and gas-handling systems. You will provide technical expertise to both onshore and offshore Production Operations teams as they oversee the full operational scope of the field.

This role also offers the opportunity to lead or contribute to several innovative systems and initiatives including the Online Subsea Advisor (supporting subsea leak detection and hydrate monitoring) the Emissions AI program (providing artificial intelligencebased emissions insights) and other forward-looking projects aligned with Cenovus value of Make It Better.

Troubleshoot production system issues and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
Participate in incident investigations and formal risk assessments including HAZOPs PHAs and What If reviews.
Identify and address factors affecting production performance equipment reliability or overall operability.
Bachelors degree in Engineering; Chemical Mechanical or Process Engineering considered an asset.
Minimum 8 years of related offshore oil industry experience with knowledge of offshore production equipment systems and control-of-work processes.
Experience with subsea facilities and well operations (including interventions/workovers) is an asset.
Understanding of reservoir behavior and limitations with knowledge of drilling completions or well intervention activities.
Experience working with SAP and proficiency in data analytics/visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Spotfire).
