Vianode’s long-term ambition is to supply advanced battery materials to 3 million EVs per year by 2030. As Civil Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Owner’s Team and external contractors to ensure technical precision and alignment with project objectives. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining high standards across all phases of the project.
Review technical documentation, specifications, drawings, and calculations provided by the study contractor
Provide formal feedback and guidance to ensure required quality, accuracy, and adherence to project goals and all relevant specifications
Lead the internal civil engineering discipline team
Technical Expertise:
Oversee civil engineering projects, including infrastructure and site development
Assess proposed specifications, designs, and construction plans
Address any discrepancies or deviations from project specifications
Quality Control and Verification:
Act as the company’s liaison with the study contractor and any other relevant third-party suppliers within the civil engineering discipline
Verify that design and engineering work align with project specifications, safety standards, and industry best practices
Ensure quality control of the study contractor’s proposal
Conduct thorough quality control checks on civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
A minimum of 15 years of relevant industry experience, with a strong focus on greenfield, large-scale industrial projects, spanning from the FEED stage through to execution
Significant experience with infrastructure and site development projects
Proven experience in owner-side project oversight
Onsite with visits to engineering offices, contractor offices and sites for walkthrough and other team meetings
