Senior Procurement Specialist - Temporary

Duties and Responsibility The incumbent will be responsible for the procurement of all supplies and services for the Varennes plant. They will lead negotiations and ensure follow-up with major suppliers, from initial contact through to contract closure following KRONOS acceptance.
Prepare and review purchase orders and ensure follow-up on monthly reports;
Maintain information in the SAP system;
Evaluate the performance of key suppliers in close collaboration with the departments involved and/or recipients of goods and services;
Manage the full supplier complaint process and follow up until resolution;
Participate in the preparation of engineering specifications and provide recommendations based on project needs;
Ensure logistics for the delivery of goods (temporary storage, Incoterms, special transportation, etc.).

DEC in Administration or a diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, and Procurement, or completion of the following four courses: Procurement, Logistics, Transportation, and Operations Management;

• 10 years of experience in procurement;
• Proficiency in French and English (spoken and written);
• Knowledge of SAP;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Competitive salary of $57.22/hour;

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. Three (3) weeks of vacation upon hiring;
