QC Laboratory Technician

Assist with laboratory testing as needed including aggregates, fine-grained soils, concrete and asphalt;

If required, secondary tasks may include conducting on-site testing of soil compaction, asphalt compaction, and concrete properties;

Preparation of field reports documenting equipment used, test locations, and results;

Assist with equipment calibration and building maintenance as needed;

Technical Diploma in a field related to Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering;

Experience in quality control of soils and materials on construction sites is an asset;

Ability to handle samples up to 25kg of materials regularly;

The salary range for this position is $47,934 to $62,913 CAD base per annum, based on the responsibilities of the role, internal equity, and current market benchmarks. Compensation may also include a comprehensive benefits package, performance incentives, or bonus eligibility depending on role level and business unit. Artificial intelligence tools may be used in the screening or selection of applications for this role.
