The Master of Financial Economics (MFE) Program is a four term, course-based professional masters program. The MFE is an interdisciplinary program offered jointly by the Department of Economics, Ivey Business School, Department of Statistical and Actuarial Sciences and Faculty of Law. The objective is to provide graduates with the analytical and quantitative skills to pursue careers in finance with potential employers such as banks, pension funds, regulatory institutions, investment banks, and related financial institutions.
The MFE Program Coordinator is responsible for all administrative and financial aspects of the program, is the main point of contact for students seeking advice on course selections and meeting program progression requirements, monitors students' progression through the program, and manages the graduate process. The MFE Program Coordinator provides administrative and advising support to students, faculty, and the MFE Director, maintains ongoing contact with program alumni, and in collaboration with the MFE Director and MFE Career Services Officer assists with designing and implementing strategies for recruiting applicants.
Undergraduate degree
Undergraduate degree preferably in business, economics, or finance is preferred
5 years of experience in an administrative role within an academic unit or financial services organization

• Public speaking experience is preferred
• Event planning experience preferred

Ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities.
