Our THUNDER BAY BRANCH has an exciting opportunity for a DELIVERY DRIVER to join our team!
The Delivery Driver delivers FGI products on their designated routes while building strong relationships with customers. You will work with your branch team members to deliver a high-quality customer experience that exceeds customer expectations through the following tasks:
Deliver FGI products to customers on designated routes while building strong relationships with customers
Load materials into the vehicle and install straps, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit
Assist inside warehouse between deliveries
5 years of total driving experience with no major driving infractions, combined with strong knowledge of Thunder Bay and surrounding areas — you know the traffic patterns, not just the roads
- Minimum 1-2 years of courier-related driving with strong customer service experience preferred, combined with a high school diploma or other equivalency certificate
- Occasionally lift up to 75 – 100lbs, sit for long periods of time, drive an FGI vehicle on roadways and highways
- Previous experience with transporting dangerous goods is preferred but not required
- Occasionally required to work Saturdays and overtime to meet business demands
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other standard office equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- This role starts at $21.00 per hour - PLUS yearly bonus!
