Job Responsibility:
Overview: We are seeking independent contractors to join our team as Drivers. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to their designated locations. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working independently and have excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities: - Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods to various locations - Load and unload items from the vehicle - Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner - Follow delivery schedules and routes provided - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle - Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups - Assist with warehouse duties as needed, such as organizing inventory or operating a forklift Qualifications: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Previous experience in commercial driving or related field preferred - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to [weight]) and perform physical tasks - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Strong attention to detail and time management skills - Ability to work independently and follow instructions - Familiarity with local roads and routes Please note that this is an independent contractor position, which means you will be responsible for your own vehicle, insurance, fuel, and other expenses related to the job.
