CNC operator - Full time permanent

What You'll Do The Machine Operators primary function is to setup and operate fabrication equipment used for the production of parts for standard and custom panel boards & switch boards to support both internal and external customers. This position is based in Milton, ON facility.

Safely operate Machine(s) (including shearing, punching and bending) based on on-the-job training, standardized operating procedures, detailed work instructions and manufacturers requirements.

• Run and operate Dynamic Machine Management software (DMM).
• Run and operate drawing vault software (Enovia, Vault etc.) to view and print drawings for fabrication purposes.
• Work from drawings, sketches, manufacturing information to determine dimensions as well as from written or verbal instruction from supervisor.
• Determine the sequence of operations and feed material through machine.
• Ensure completed production orders are kept in an organized manner; Monitor operation of machines to clear blockage, prevent jams and breakage and assure adequate lubrication of feed stock.

• Completed high school diploma.
• Minimum one year of fabrication experience operating at least one of the following: shearing, punching and/or bending machines.
• Good digital skills, including MS Office (Word & Excel).
• Demonstrated ability to work safely, on multiple projects, in a manufacturing environment.
