Data Analysis Specialist

We're looking to hire a Senior Analyst, Procurement Analytics & Performance to be a part of our Procurement Team reporting to Manager, Data Analytics. This role is critical in driving operational excellence and supporting Procurement strategic decision-making through advanced analytics and process improvement initiatives. You will work very closely with category teams to provide value-added analysis and reporting.

Data analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret operational, financial, and performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Performance measurement: Define and develop KPIs, performance frameworks, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
Process Improvement: Apply Lean Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to optimize workflows and enhance performance
Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings and progress toward business goals to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Data quality: Establish and maintain high standards for data quality and consistency across the organization.

An undergraduate degree in STEM, Master’s degree an asset

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in data analytics or process improvement roles demonstrating an ability to derive actionable insights. Strong proficiency with SQL and at least one coding languages to manipulate data
• Experience in data models and data visualization, skills in PowerBI an asset
• Knowledge of advanced statistical and analytical techniques and concepts
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is an asset.
