At Old Stone Inn, a 111-room boutique hotel, we pride ourselves on fostering a close-knit, team-oriented environment. We are currently seeking Housekeeping Room Attendants to join our team. Both part-time and full-time positions are available for the right candidates.
Room Attendants are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas in accordance with hotel standards, policies, and procedures. This role plays a key part in ensuring a positive guest experience by delivering high-quality service and responding to guest needs with professionalism and care.
Room Attendants will also communicate any maintenance concerns or room deficiencies to the appropriate departments.
Previous housekeeping experience is an asset; however, training will be provided to the right candidate
~WHMIS and/or First Aid certification is an asset
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions (heat, rain, snow) when servicing exterior rooms
- Regular exposure to cleaning chemicals (e.g., disinfectants, glass cleaners, furniture polish, carpet cleaners)
Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards
Room Cleaning Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms (tubs, toilets, sinks, Jacuzzi/whirlpool tubs)
- Dusting all furniture and fixtures
- Restocking amenities (towels, coffee, tea, toiletries, etc.)
- Cleaning coffee stations
- Cleaning mirrors and windows
Maintain an organized housekeeping cart and storage areas
- Monitor and report in-room beverage inventory
- Complete deep cleaning and special projects as assigned
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas and hallways
