Sobeys Central Kitchen, located in Delta, BC, is now hiring a Buyer Planner. This is an exciting opportunity that brings together the retail grocery sector and enhanced culinary experience.
Schedule production, order ingredients, packaging, and supplies.
Maintain superior customer service levels with both internal and external customers.
Production planning and inventory management, working closely with Managers.
Ability to coach and lead work teams to achieve performance, quality, and service goals.
Ensure adherence to Sobeys policies, procedures, and practices.
Strive for continuous improvement.
Administrative duties related to production, shipping, and quality performance.
Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field, equivalent experience or relevant certifications may be considered
Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience required
Experience in production planning, scheduling, purchasing, and cost analysis.
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and production planning software.
Understanding of manufacturing regulations regarding safety, quality, HACCP, BRC, Federal Regulations and GMP’s.
Ability to analyze cost performance data to improve operations and reduce costs.
Available for Tuesday to Saturday schedule.
