Our Telecommunications group is currently looking to add a Directional Driller to our growing team, based in MB.
Reporting to the Crew Foreman, we are seeking an experienced Driller with experience operating Telecommunications Construction equipment. Please Note: this position works 10 hour days in different type of work shifts. Candidates must be able to work in all climactic conditions, travel outside of their home area and be willing to access confined spaces and plant site conditions.
Load and unload directional bore equipment in a manner that is secure and damage free
Place underground and overhead fiber and copper cables
Couple conduit and pull different types of cables
Complete drivers logbook (conduct pre, en-route and post trip inspections)
Maintains and records accurate daily drilling activities
Read and interpret project plans, diagrams and Locates
Must have experience pulling trailers and operating a bucket and digger truck
- Must be flexible to working varying hours
