Senior IT Project Engineer

Are you a seasoned IT professional who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and leading high-impact projects? We are seeking a Senior IT Project Engineer to join our growing team. In this leadership role, you will take ownership of our Project Deployment function, working closely with a Junior Project Engineer while delivering a wide range of client-facing IT initiatives.
From advanced server infrastructure and cloud migrations to modern network and VOIP solutions, this role offers the opportunity to apply deep technical expertise while mentoring others and shaping project delivery standards. The Senior IT Project Engineer is responsible for leading and executing complex IT projects across our client base. This role combines hands-on technical delivery with project leadership and mentorship, ensuring solutions are delivered efficiently, securely, and to a high standard. You will play a key role in designing scalable systems, guiding junior staff, and contributing to continuous improvement across our project operations.
Lead IT Projects: Plan, manage, and execute end-to-end IT projects, taking charge of server upgrades, VM migrations, network configurations, and more.
Design Client-Centric Solutions: Lead and collaborate on designing custom IT solutions tailored to client needs, including VOIP telephony solutions on the 3CX platform.
Independently manage and migrate files and directories to cloud platforms like Azure AD, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
Network Management: Install, configure, and maintain wireless access points, switches, routers, and other network components.
Provide Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor junior engineers, ensuring high standards of technical support and client satisfaction.
VOIP Telephony: Lead the installation and configuration of VOIP telephony solutions on the 3CX platform.
Create and maintain detailed project documentation, reporting progress and challenges to the Project Coordinator.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Coordinator for scheduling, stakeholder communication, and project updates.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in IT projects, including VOIP telephony solutions on the 3CX platform.
• Experience with Ubiquiti Networks switches and wireless access points.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows server operations, Hyper-V, VMware, Azure AD, and network configurations.
• Microsoft Certified: Previous experience working at a Managed Service Provider (MSP) would be desirable.

Full-time position with the flexibility to work evenings and weekends as projects require.
Primarily office-based with occasional travel to client locations.
