The Territory Manager Eastern Canada (located in Ontario) will be responsible for strengthening distributor relationships driving business development and supporting market growth activities for hybrid fall rye and portfolio crops. This role will focus on expanding end-use market opportunities in feed cover crops milling and distilling.
Working closely with key distributors farmer advocates end-use partners and industry stakeholders this individual will develop and transfer the necessary knowledge to drive awareness sales and acceptance of hybrid rye across Eastern Canada. They will contribute to marketing logistics and administrative processes to ensure consistent customer service brand recognition and market development.
KWS Seeds Canada is searching for an experienced and motivated Territory Manager for Eastern Canada. This position is ideal for someone with a strong agribusiness background distributor and end-user relationship experience and a track record in market development. The successful candidate will be a self-starter organized and able to work independently while collaborating across sales marketing and technical teams.
Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager this person will play a key role in expanding KWS presence and building long-term market opportunities in Eastern Canada.
Distributor Sales Development

  • Build strengthen and expand relationships with seed distributors and their networks.
  • Provide product training joint farmer calls and strategic support to distributor sales teams.
  • End-Use Market Development
  • Collaborate with KWS technical experts to align on agronomy and nutritional knowledge with market needs.
  • Sales & Marketing Support
  • Work with distributors to achieve sales pricing and service goals.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and contribute to marketing campaigns and industry events.
  • Participate in trade shows field days and industry events to promote the KWS brand and products.
  • Market Intelligence & Reporting
  • Collect and analyze market data (planted acres sales inventory market share).
  • Maintain CRM records (Salesforce) for distributors farmers and end-users.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams to guide product positioning and market strategy.

Bilingual fluent in written and spoken English and French

  • 5 years experience in agricultural sales business development or distributor account management
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deliverables with minimal supervision
  • Data driven and results oriented
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce)
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel regularly (up to 35%)

Experience in livestock management feeding systems for cattle swine or poultry

  • Advanced sales experience in strategic planning marketing and project management

Ce poste sera axé sur lexpansion des débouchés commerciaux dans les domaines de lalimentation animale des cultures de couverture de la meunerie et de la distillation.
En étroite collaboration avec les principaux distributeurs les regroupements dagriculteurs les utilisateurs finaux et les acteurs du secteur cette personne développera et transmettra les connaissances nécessaires pour sensibiliser le public stimuler les ventes et favoriser lacceptation du seigle hybride dans lEst du Canada. Elle contribuera aux processus de marketing de logistique et dadministration afin dassurer un service à la clientèle cohérent la reconnaissance de la marque et le développement du marché.
Ce poste est idéal pour une personne ayant une solide expérience dans le secteur agroalimentaire des relations avec les distributeurs et les utilisateurs finaux et de lexpérience en matière de développement de marchés. Le candidat retenu sera autonome organisé et capable de travailler de manière indépendante tout en collaborant avec les équipes commerciales marketing et techniques.
Sous la responsabilité du directeur des ventes et du marketing cette personne jouera un rôle clé dans lexpansion de la présence de KWS et la création doccasions commerciales à long terme dans lEst du Canada.

Développement des ventes des distributeurs
Fournir des formations sur les produits organiser des appels conjoints avec les agriculteurs et apporter un soutien stratégique aux équipes commerciales des distributeurs.
Développement du marché des utilisateurs finaux
Collaborer avec les experts techniques de KWS afin daligner les connaissances agronomiques et nutritionnelles sur les besoins du marché.
Soutien aux ventes et au marketing
Collaborer avec les distributeurs pour atteindre les objectifs en matière de ventes de tarification et de service.
Préparer les prévisions de ventes et contribuer aux campagnes marketing et aux événements du secteur.
Connaissance du marché et rapports
Collecter et analyser les données du marché (superficies cultivées ventes stocks parts de marché).
Tenir à jour les dossiers CRM (Salesforce) pour les distributeurs les agriculteurs et les utilisateurs finaux.
Fournir des commentaires aux équipes internes afin dorienter le positionnement des produits et la stratégie commerciale.

Compétences et formation requises:
Bilingue maîtrise parfaite de langlais et du français à lécrit et à loral
Formation postsecondaire en agriculture (diplôme ou certificat)
Plus de 5ans dexpérience dans la vente de produits agricoles le développement commercial ou la gestion de comptes de distributeurs
Excellentes compétences en communication tant à lécrit quà loral avec une capacité avérée à négocier des contrats des accords et des tarifs
Solides compétences en matière dorganisation et de résolution de problèmes avec le souci du détail et la capacité de gérer plusieurs tâches et datteindre les objectifs fixés avec un minimum de supervision
Axé sur les données et les résultats
Maîtrise de Microsoft Office et des systèmes CRM (Salesforce)
Compétences et formation souhaitées:
Expérience avancée dans la vente la planification stratégique le marketing et la gestion de projets
Expérience dans la production la transformation et la logistique des semences

Elle se concentre sur la sélection végétale ainsi que sur la production et la vente de semences de betteraves sucrières de céréales de maïs de colza de tournesols et de légumes. En 2022 KWS a créé une entité commerciale canadienne dont le siège social est situé à Calgary en Alberta et qui compte aujourdhui une équipe complète de professionnels à travers le pays.
