We are committed to delivering up-to-date and reliable automotive news and features to our readers. We’re looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist to drive measurable growth across paid channels for CarBuzz. You’ll own campaign execution and optimization across key acquisition platforms, partnering closely with Editorial, SEO, Data/Analytics, and Revenue to scale our marketplace efforts. Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads (Search/Discover/YouTube), Meta, TikTok, X, Reddit, and/or programmatic partners (channel mix based on business needs).
Own performance outcomes (CPA/CAC, ROAS where applicable, CTR, CPC, conversion rate, session quality), and report weekly/monthly insights with clear recommendations.
Run structured experiments (A/B and multivariate tests) on targeting, bidding, creatives, and messaging—maintaining an always-on testing pipeline.
Monitor market and platform trends (auto seasonality, model-year shifts, new features like PMax updates, attribution/privacy changes) and quickly translate them into execution.
2–5+ years hands-on experience in performance marketing / paid media (in-house, agency, or both).
~ Google Ads (Search, YouTube, Discover; Comfortable analyzing performance in spreadsheets and BI tools (Looker Studio/Tableau a plus).
Highly organized: campaign hygiene, documentation, experimentation discipline, budget pacing.
Experience in media/publishing, high-volume content environments, or affiliate-driven models.
Familiarity with SEO/content strategy and how paid can amplify editorial wins.
Experience with YouTube growth or paid video creative testing.
Basic SQL, BigQuery, or analytics engineering collaboration experience.
